Golf Instruction

The Jewel Golf Club is proud to offer PGA certified golf instruction from Head Golf Professional Kent Blaschko.  Kent has been a member of the PGA since 1995.  Below is the cost of golf instruction for the 2010 season.

Junior Golf

The Professional Staff at The Jewel firmly believes in growing the game of golf beginning with a quality instructional program for kids. Our Junior Golf program is designed to focus on three areas:

• Mechanics – Mechanics will focus on teaching kids the fundamentals of golf. It will include instruction on proper setup, full swing, short game and putting.
• Values – Golf is not only a game. Golf is a game of integrity. Our program will help to educate kids not only on the rules of golf, but also on the meaning of sportsmanship, fair play, and integrity. Values will not only help kids succeed on the golf course, but will also help them succeed in life.
• Fun – Our Junior Program is fun! By helping kids have fun at the game of golf from the beginning, we can help to provide them with a game they can enjoy for a lifetime.

The Jewel Golf Club is once again offering a junior golf program this summer. The program is divided into two age groups grades K through 6^th and 7^th through 12^th. The purpose of the program is to introduce the students to the game of golf in a fun environment.  It is limited to the first 16 participants in each age group to sign up. Grades K – 6^th Tuesdays 10:00 am – 11:00 am (June 8 - July 27).

Grades 7^th – 12^th Thursdays 10:00 am – 11:00 am (June 10 - July 29).

Cost: $50 per student (Includes Instruction, refreshments, and a year-end event with prizes).
